Now we’re a few months into 2025 it seems time for a bit of a general update about exciting things in the world of fantasy wargaming. I’ll also take the opportunity to give a highly convoluted answer to the question well over 100 people are now asking about that second book.

The Rose of Amzharr: the end of the adventure is coming…

Back in July 2022 I released the Rose of Amzharr, and then things got a little bit crazy, now in 2025 things are starting to settle a bit and I’m excited to start the end of the adventure.

Out with the old and in with the new: bring on 2024

After a bit of a rubbish end to 2023 I’m looking forward to drawing a line under it all and getting stuck into 2024.

Another year has disappeared over the horizon and the next 365 day void has promptly appeared, demanding to be used productively (definitions of productively may vary). Last year was certainly a busy year under the general hobby umbrella that is The Wizard’s Bookshelf and 2023 has the potential to be as well, provided I can pull my finger out.
